Loneliness is a recurring theme in my artwork, explored through the use of symbolic objects such as masks, hourglasses, and chains. I choose these objects because they convey emotions in ways that go beyond facial expressions, which I struggle to interpret. For me, a mask can represent the façade that people wear to hide their true emotions, while an hourglass reflects the slow, relentless passage of time often felt in moments of solitude. Chains, on the other hand, symbolize the weight and confinement of emotions, illustrating the struggle to break free or connect with others.

Through my art, I seek to challenge the perception of loneliness as merely a negative emotion. I aim to show its complexity and the different ways it can manifest in people's lives. The symbolic elements I incorporate may not be immediately obvious, but they invite the viewer to pause, reflect, and explore their own understanding of loneliness. By prompting this introspection, I hope to inspire a dialogue that goes beyond the surface and fosters a deeper appreciation for the diverse emotional experiences that make us human.
